The current world population of 7.6 billion is expected to reach 8.6 billion in 2030.

Demand for aquatic food is set to way outstrip supply by 2030.

Aquaculture is the solution that will bridge this gap between demand and supply, and as such, is the fastest growing form of animal protein production in the world.

Shrimp farming can be highly profitable, and can offer fast investment cycles (as short as 4 months), but is typically hard to access and can carry a high risk.

Alune vets and partners with farms in South East Asia and South America, developing a portfolio of high potential shrimp farms that meet a strict performance criteria.

Throught the careful curation of our farm portfolio we offer investors the opportunity to benifit from the attractive upsides of shrimp farming.

Keep up to date with our investment opportunities

SUSTAINABILITY

Ecosystem Regeneration

“Alune Aqua will take measures to minimise the environmental impact of it’s farming operations,  and where possible, will regenerate previously  damaged ecosystems”

Our Farms

Shrimp aquaculture is notorious for clearing huge areas of land for it’s activities. Alune employs more intensive farming practices that require significantly less land.

The effluent at the end of a shimp cycle can be extremely high in nitrates which when released into waterways an cause significant damage. Alune uses no chemicals during production, and biologically treats all effluent water in run off ponds before it is released.

Through these two important farming methods, we minimise our environmental impacts and make previously damaged ecosysetems available for regeneration.
